No 'Ho Ho Ho'

Ho From Sydney, Australia comes this little gift of political correctness.

Santas have been told to find another way to greet children because the time-honored "ho ho ho" might be offensive to women. Comes from a Daily Telegraph report:

One disgruntled Santa told the newspaper a recruitment firm warned him not to use "ho ho ho" because it could frighten children and was too close to "ho", a US slang term for prostitute.

I'm sure next they will be telling pirates to cut the Yo Ho Ho crap.

Are you kidding me?! Enough is enough with this crap, every little thing offending someone. You know what, I'm offended by people saying they're offended by stupid little things like this. Where the hell are we going to draw the line and just tell people to grow up and shut up?!

shouldn't they rename "The Land Down Under" to something more acceptable? Because that makes me think about a woman's privates...all women of Australia, including the prostitutes, should be offended by that!

It seems the more we try to avoid offending people, the more people we offend. I think it's safe to say that we are living in an extremely immature society that has nothing better to do than nit pick at every little comment or adage - ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! If people don't like something, then they can just avoid it!
